The San Diego Center for Molecular Agriculture (SDCMA) is an umbrella organization that promotes interactions between plant molecular biologists/geneticists in public institutions (UCSD), private institutions (The Salk Institute for Biological Studies and The Scripps Research Institute) and local biotechnology companies.
The members of the SDCMA contribute to the basic science that underlies advances in food production for all peoples of the world.
