Research focus:

Our work focuses on two questions that are of universal importance for eukaryotic cells: 1) How do cells control their size? and 2) How do cells control inheritance of their organellar DNA? We use the unicellular alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii   as an experimental organism because it offers unique advantages for gaining insight into these questions.
